I've been writing novels since 2005. After a tragedy in my family, I moved to Hawaii and decided to write down what had happened, and my feelings. After two pages, it wasn't working. What did work was a whole lot of laughs. I began a novel of romantic comedy. That was the best therapy I could've hoped for. I wrote five novels that year. Since then, I've continued to write other genres and published my own novels due to publishing houses closing. I released 2nd editions because those houses didn't allow me to choose my own cover art or write what I wanted. Currently, I live in Las Vegas, Nevada, but have lived and or visited many places you'll see that I write about in my books.
Some of my favorite stories are: Frances Hodgson Burnett's, The Secret Garden and The Little Princess. Nathaniel Hawthorne's, The Scarlet Letter, and Shakespeare's, The Taming of the Shrew. I love Sherlock Holmes stories and horror like: The Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, The Mummy, and Frankenstein. My favorite contemporary writer is Janet Evanovich. I enjoy everything I read from her. I love romantic comedy movies and old movies like Arsenic and Old Lace.
In my spare time, I write of course, but I love to bake, garden, and swim. Especially if it's on a tropical beach.
